Tawnie...Are you ready?? Tomorrow is the big day!! Do you have everything done? I go Monday, but I haven't done much...the diet kicked my butt and I am dragging. I have a spurt of energy today though and will be running around trying to clean everything in time. Hope all is well for ya!!

I still have SO MUCH to do!! The only thing I have stocked up on is my best friend is a RN and she has been gathering tons of broth packets from the hospital for me. So I am stocked on broth. But I still need protien, vitamins, and popcicles, probably more crystal light and bottled water.
Oh and last night I had a cry fest, my first bought of fears surfaced...Is this normal?

Hey... If you have an odd lots ( Big Lots) in your area.... you might want to check them out... they have those popsicles that are liquid and you freeze them (in the plastic tubes) they are SF - 100 in a box for $1.99 ! ! ! ! I got 4 boxes! I tried them already, and they arent bad at all! ! Plus, the kids dont seem to mind them either.

OH wow...I forgot popcicles. LOL!! I don't have broth that I like either. I have mounds of Protein though!! Right now I am in a cleaning FRENZY. In fact, I best actually get to the 'FRENZY'...or it's going to peeter out before I start it!! LOL!!
Ok...putting popcicles on the list...oh broth too! GOT IT!
Crying jags...NOPE..not here, but I hear it's normal for 'normal' people..in which case I wouldn't qualify.

I had my own cryfest about a week before my surgery... it happened one day when I was looking at my 19 month old.
I remember reading on the boards before about others doing that as well, so I don't feel to abnormal for it!
Good Luck and Best wishes to all of you June Bugs... I can now say, "I'll save you a spot on the LOSER's Bench"!!!!

Best of luck to the June Bugs. I'll be praying for you.
If I may share something that helped my recovery, the very best thing I did for myself before the surgery was to clean the house until it gleamed. The morning I left for the hospital, I moved Hubby into the guest room for the duration and put fresh sheets on my bed. It was bliss to come home to a shining house and to recuperate while lying in crisp, clean sheets. I was serene and felt comforted by the orderliness of my surroundings, and this gave me a big psychological boost that aided my recovery.
