I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am on the 9th! I heard morning surgeries are best, fasting wise. The only pre-op diet I have is all clear liquids on the 8th and magnesium citrate at 4pm [yuck, any stories from that?]. Then, fasting after midnight.
I get my bloodwork done and have the one meeting beforehand on the 6th.
My pre-op hasn't involved much work, which I'm not complaining about, but my mom has gone through the surgery so it will go okay =c]

Zen, Good luck on Monday, I'm sure everything will go great and you'll be home and posting in no time. I had a small break down about ice cream just yesterday. I love ice cream, all kinds not just one in particular, but you know what I'm gonna love even more ----- Buying Jeans that fit nicely and that I feel sexy and skinny in. and that is the only reason I'm going to give up my ice cream. (that and my overall health) When I think about all of the things I wont be able to eat, I try to think about all of the things I'll be able to wear, I see the cutest clothes at the store and then I pass by them to the clothes that fit me - no amout of ice cream or junk food is better than looking great and feeling great and having others look at you and think to themselves wow - shes HOT !!! So for all of us June bugs - Goodbye junk food hello LIFE....

Go Zen Baby!
You know you're ready - and you're going to do great!
I will be thinking of you - what time do you go in? I mean I know it isn't for a really long time, but what time of day do you "report".
We'll keep blabbing until the last possible moment!

Just wanted to wish you June Bugs the best of luck -- I will be thinking about you and hoping for a safe uncomplicated surgery.... You will do great -- I do still miss food also, like George said, It is kind of strange, but I know eventually I will be able to have little bits of things and enjoy the little portions or just a bite rather than the whole plate or whole bag.......
Take care.....

Liquids...Liquids...Liquids....mmmm...mmm...Yuck!
Thanks Audean...I am already missing food!!
Welcome Malisa...I added your info to the Front Page!! You will do great on Tuesday and your right, you and Dorthy should raise your Iv's in tribute.
I started an all liquid diet today!!! I am lucky and get to start the bowel prep today too!! Wooo Hooo!! So I am sitting here typing away, reading, and sipping my crystal light and looking forward to seeing nothing but liquids for the next two weeks!! JOY of JOYS!!
Gina...I'm here...just doing last minute cleaning. Though I know for an absolute FACT that my husband and kids will have it trashed by the time I get out of the hospital. LOL!! To answer your question, I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am and I am first one out of the gates at 7:30am. I should be well drugged and walking by Noon. LOL!!
