Default Me Next...

Well, while Tawnie has started her process today, I get to start thinking about my own.

You may or may not be aware of my journey to this point..either way, it's been a LONG road. I am at peace with everything and I am feeling a calm I haven't felt in months. My future is set, and this is my LAST weekend as this person!!

Now. I have a crappy weekend planned...litterally! I start a clear liquid diet on Saturday and the bowel prep I choose is a two day deal. And of course...add to this that Dairy Queen is out to get me and came out with MONSTER COOKIE Blizzards...those evil bastards...RIGHT WHEN I CAN'T HAVE ONE!!! (that is only my all time most favorite cookie in the whole freakin' world!!) I figure I am paying for some past sin..and it must have been a doozy!!

Oh well. My mind is now set on the right track and ice cream isn't on it...I have spent the past 4 months telling myself what I don't and won't need in the years to come. I have convinced myself (almost) that an apple in peanut butter is JUST as good as Monster Cookies!! That pudding that is SF and FF is just as rich as the sugar/calorie loaded stuff!! My brain is very close to believing me when I say that WATER is just like Mt. DEW!!! I have made super progress to this point! I just hope the VERSAID they give me doesn't make me forget all those wonderful things I have taught myself!!!! LOL!!

Can't wait to 'SEE' you all from the other side of the fence!!!

Best of Luck Dorothy on Tuesday, Laura on the 8th and Blair on the 9th!!!! I will be thinking about you guys Even if I don't get a chance to post it!!! Elisa...tell your hubbie our time is almost here!!!!

WOOO HOOO>.....WHAT A RIDE!!!!!

Cheer up, Zen! I haven't had ice cream for a whole month now and I don't miss it. You won't either. All the little sacrifices are SO worth it! It's wonderful on this side! I can't wait till you get over here.

Hey Zen-hang in there!!! The relationship with food sucks, I know!!!! This surgery can be a total mind @$%^&! The night before my surgery, I kept thinking what I couldn’t eat! Now post op, just yesterday, I wanted to binge eat so bad, but I couldn’t. I am trying to think about all the food I CAN eat in the weeks, months, and years to come. As the weight disappears, I think we can be high of the new us, and hopefully, we will forget about the food high.
