17wks 3days Pregnancy Update
Well I guess it is time to share some exciting things that have been going on with our little bumble bee.
Me and the hubby went to the San Diego Zoo this weekend and I walked for about 31/2 hours. I was so soar when I got home. It was funny because I am not familiar to what it would feel like if the baby moved of kicked so when we were walking up the hill coming from seeing the pandas something balled up in my stomach. Now at first I was think it was a hunger pain but I haven't felt a hunger pain like that in a long time. So when we get home I am laying down and this object is sticking up from my belly and me and my husband are touching it and it kind of just stayed like that for a few minutes. I was kind of scared at first because I wasn't for sure of what I was looking at. Since I haven't had an ultrasound yet I wasn't for sure if that was a foot or a hand. Either way I was tearing up. Seeing and feeling our baby do that made it all that much more real. I am blessed. I have an appointment for an ultrasound for the 9th of next month and I am so excited. I might have to sneak and get one before then, I am so excited to see her/him.
O yeah she/he hangs out on the left side of my belly. Is that normal? Has anyone ever experienced their baby so early out hanging out on one side of the belly. Just curious as to if that is considered normal . Thanks for letting me share my experience with you guys. I apologize for the double posting.

Hey Denise,
I am so happy for you. Isn't that a great feeling? Especially when your spouse is just as excited as you are. I think it's normal for them to hang out in a certain area. When I was pregnant with my daughter she did the same thing. They move around so much though when they're small. He/She might move to the other side eventually.

Awww poor V. Your son was Long . I guess he had no other place to go but to hang out around the rib cage area. He was a nice size baby. I hoping our baby isn't that big.

I am so excited for you! It must be one heck of a moment to realize there is a little person moving around down there. I am so jealous, my husband and I are counting the days until we can start trying.

How exciting for you! Are you going to find out the sex?
Yeah its normal for your baby to hang out on one side, consider yourself lucky! Scarlet was totally stretched out all of the time she had a mind of her own even in the womb. I went for an appointment on a Monday and they scheduled me for a C-Section on that Friday. Within those 4 days she managed to completely turn herself around and when I went in on Friday for the C-Section they discovered she was breech! She was totally stuck under my pelvic bone and rib cage they had to spread my ribs during the C-Section and everything.
THANK GOD FOR THE SPINAL AND THE FREE FLOWING MORPHINE!
Don't be scared you'll do great!

My son was all over the place. Finally in the end, he was transverse breech. I swear he used to do acrobatics in there, using the placenta as a trampoline. On a side note, Denise, have you considered renting a fetal doppler? My sister is renting one at the moment, and loves getting to hear the baby's heartbeat. Although, until her next appt, she's freaking out because she's getting 2 distinct beats in 2 different places.
Keep us posted!!

Yeah I kind of figured once she got older she/he would move more to the other direction. As long as she or he don't sit on my spine I am Ok with wherever she/he picks their seating. It is just good to know that she is moving around in there.
