Me too please...
I'm hoping to be a 'June Bug', just waiting for the nurse to call back and set up a date for me
My mom is also on here, she is Queen Robin of the May surgeries . We are doing this together, her first since hers are for medical reasons, and then when she is recovered, it will be my turn.
I'm new to this site, just starting to check it out and doing more research. So, if ya got any good links to check out, please let me know. There are so many different forums and posts on here, I'm a little overwhelmed not knowing where to start. Thanks.
Heather

Grocery Store Dietition...HOW COOL!!
Yeah all my JUNE BUG BUDDIES!!! Can't wait to see how many new-buggies will show up between now and June!! Yippie!! I am so excited to be able to share this with all of you!!!
I know I have to start a two week pre-op diet that is NO carb, mostly Protien on the 22nd of May....what about you guys...any special diets or pre-op instructions?
A cool note: I have a super Grocery store here that hires a Dietition who is going to go around the store and show me what I can eat, how to shop for myself and family and what brands to associate with 'good' and bad. I have a personal lable reader that will help point out those wonderful things our dietition is telling us in the meetings. I meet with the one in the Grocery store on the 24th to get the supplies for the pre-op diet and the first week home after. All of that valuable help is FREE!!! Man...I LOVE HY-VEE!! (Sorry if you other states don't have one...it's a SUPER WONDERFUL STORE!) She is even going to get recipies together for me that I can incorporate into my family dinners that would allow me to eat the same meal as the rest of the family. HOW COOL IS THAT??? I was just excited when I learned about this...today...and wanted to share!!!

Hi Zen,
Why thank you kindly for asking! I'm doing well. Had the surgery 8 days ago. It went like a breeze, thanks to my genius surgeon, and I have no pain. I'm back to doing housework, taking walks daily and seeing friends. I hope all the June Bugs have as easy as time as I did!
Dix
