Default Cost in the USA

Hi All,

Just researching prices based on prices here (Ireland) the UK and the USA/Canada. A friend of mine is from New Jersey, but is living here and her neighbour spend tens of thousands of dollars for surgery, but over here we only pay just under 10k Euro IWLS (This is where I had mine done. Would it not be a cheaper option for you guys to come over to Europe, I mean flights are so cheap nowadays?

The cost here for me was $22,000. Not a huge enough difference when you think of the cost of the hotels and flights for two people plus the surgery there. Nice option though.

I did plan on looking to go overseas if my insurance ahd said no. I wasn't sure as to where since I hadn't researched it yet. Mine ended up being covered.

I Haven't Recieved All The Bills Yet, But... Just The Surgery Itself And Hospitalization Was $39.000. Now I Had A Lot Of Pre-op Appointments And Soon There Will Be Post Op Appointments So Not Sure About The Final Bill. But I Am Super Lucky I Have An Awesome Insurance Plan $0 Copay. :d
If I Had To Pay For The Surgery, Then Ya, I Would Definately Thought Of Going Overseas.
