Default Question about Exercising

I was just approved and I don't think my Insurance for surgery I will be having it in september due to my work. I was wondering If I exercised while loosing weight would that help tighten the skin? Or would I need a tummy tuck after wards? I see a lot of pics on here and some people in two piece bathing suits and they look good I can't tell if they had a tummy tuck or was just very lucky.

Everyone's body is different. My doctor we impressed that I did not have a lot of excess skin but I exercise 4 times a week. In my opinion need a TT, my arms and possibly legs.

I excercise a lot now, and I plan on continuing post-op. Every body is different and I hope mine will tighten up, because i'm young and healthy, but I don't know/

Only time will tell, I suppose.

You are still young enough that your skin should have a lot of elasticity. Keep up the exercise it will help. Good luck.

I exercised often and do weight trianing...I still had a TT......it depends on how you lose wheight and where the excess skin lingers. I'm okay on top, but had lots of love handle skin.

Hey !

You know, this is one of the questions I most get asked.. and that was also one of the questions I asked my doctor... he told me, that there is no way of knowing, every body is different, and it also depends on the quality of your skin....

If you have lost and gained weight frequently, your skin "quality" might have decreased... that is one thing he told me would affect.

But he also told me, and this is very smart: First make it happen (loosing weight) then put your mind on the excess skin.

Regards,

All this great info. Thank you all for the advice I hope my skin is young enough to bounce back so I don't have to have a tummy tuck.
