Hi all Thanks so much for your support.. Well.. Everything went ok.. had tons of questions and got loads of answers. I was informed that if I wanted my insurance to pay for the surgery that I HAVE to have it ON BASE.. wich is ok. So.,. insurance is not a problem at this point. I have my nutrition, health and wellness meetings next week, and my phsyc eval still needs to be scheduled. After I have those out of the way , I meet with him again, and he schedules me for surgery... The Surgeon was really impressed with my "Mini novelette" as he called it. ((all the info that I put together about trial/errors of weight loss, fam history, emotions, aches, and pains etc etc... )) So I wanted to thank everyone here for so much support and helping me get all of that together.

Congrats to you. I guess they don't have a waiting list like my base does. Its like 400 people waiting. Took me close to two years to have my surgery. I'm glad you won't have to wait that long!

Congrats, glad it went well for you.
I guess I am lucky that it isn't offered at Naval Hosp GL, I got champused out to Milwaukee. A two year wait would have killed me. It took me forever to decide on the surgery, when I decided on it finally, I wanted it like yesterday!!!
Glad it wont be as long a wait for you in OHio!
We are heading for Hawaii this summer, I heard the wait list at Tripler is like two years as well, thats why I opted to do it before the big transfer.
