Default What to do??

Okay this is weird.... my bones hurt! Not inside... not like joint pain or anything... but where they poke out now. Like my shoulder bones... all the tissue and skin around the entire area is sore. My hip bones, and tail bone too. It's worse at night, and especially painful around my knees.... what on earth is going on? And how do I fix it?? OWIE!

Robin.
This is strange! Have you called your doctor to report it?
Let us know what happens.

Default I think I know part of mine...

My knees are doing the same thing, and I know that part of it is the fact that my entire gait has changed--I'm walking on the outsides of my feet now, and I was walking on the inside. Doesn't explain that even touching them is painful at night - maybe just 'cause they've had so much padding all the time? I don't know why, but I know it's there...

I'm more tender to touch now since the bones are so much closer to the surface. I've been going to my chiropractor regularly to get adjusted and it helps. I've noticed my ankles crack together more easily and it hurts when I bump them.

The 'cure' would - more than likely - be unaceptable to you: gain the weight back.

You've lost all that extra padding around those areas and now they're a lot more sensitive. I have issues with the tailbone, too. Riding in a car for too long of a period plays hell on my ass!

I also notice that when I lay on my side in bed, my knees bump and grind together - sounds kind of sexy if they're bumping and grinding but trust me, it's definitely NOT.

I'm looking at buying a gel seat for my car in the hopes that will help - at least for the tailbone pain... Not sure what to do for my knees at night in bed, though...

Default Knees

I can't lie on my side with my knees one on top of each other. Hurts too much. It's so weird. How have skinny people coped with all this pain!!!

I've wondered about that, too, Lisa.

Maybe if you put a thin pillow between your knees at night it would help...just a thought.

Hmmmmm... well when I was skinny before I didn't have this problem! LOL Even now sitting in this chair... it's hurting my butt! How weird this is! I'll ask my doctor, but I'm sure it's like Nancy said... and it's just the bones being close to the surface once again. *sigh* If it isn't one thing... it's another! LOL Thanks guys....

The pinching of skin folds that get caught on things hurts too!
