does anyone know if i can go to the initial seminar/class thing at dr. callerys office before my consult is approved by my medical group. My referral was submitted today with tons of info so hopefully i will hear something soon. But i would like to get the ball rolling.

The seminar should be free and have nothing to do with insurance. It's just the doctors dog and pony show to get new clients interested. You might want to attend the seminars of multiple doctors to get and idea of how they vary. I went to two myself. I went to a third but it had started before I arrived so they wouldn't let me in.

You have to have a letter from your insurance saying that your initial consult was approved, they collect them at the door. Dr. C's office also requires that you be scheduled to attend the meeting and they won't even schedule you if you don't have the letter.
