Hi everyone! I am new to the forum. I had my surgery July 11,2003. I was 334lbs then and I am now 192lbs. I had my surgery through the Military and I was told they would remove the loose skin from my tummy area. They have put me off for a year now and tell me it is an elective surgery because the army has changed to Humana insurance. I am now getting divorced from my husband and it will be final by May,which means no more military insurance. He gave me a year to get this surgery done through the army and since they have turned me down repetively, he has filed. I don't have insurance and most definietly have the money to pay for such a surgery. Is there any help out there ??Carrying this extra skin from my stomache area is really hurting my back to the point that I can't be in bed for more than 4 hours when I go to bed or on my feet for more than 4hrs. I can't really run around with my kids cuz of the loose skin, it jiggles and it hurts me. I don't know who to turn too or where to get help. If anyone can lead me in the right direction , I would truly appreciate it. Thank you !!
