Lightbulb 2 Months and 3 Days

I went to my first OB appointment yesterday. Me and the hubby looked like two new pre-schoolers, waiting for our first day of school. I filled up every cup they had and gave up 12 tubes of blood. It all went very smoothly and my hubby was there through it all. We didn't get to hear the babies heart beat yet, of course it is to soon. When I go back in 4 weeks I will be able to hear my little bumble bees heart beat(we are so Pysched about that ). I am just mainly concerned about how my labs are going to come back. I am almost sure my Iron will be low , but I am working on it. I am still maintaining my weight loss, so I am so pleased about that. I will keep you guys posted if I get a call about my Labs. Please keep us in your prayers.

Denise: No point in freaking until they give you something concrete to worry about. Besides, at this point, everything is easily fixed!! Heck, even without WLS people who have never had an Iron problem can develop one...(I did!!) Everything will be just dandy...or minor...don't fret! Now is a good time to start talking to your tummy!! LOL!!

When I was first preggo with all of mine (3) we named the growing bean and talked to 'it' daily..it helped relieve some of the anxieties I was feeling at various stages of pregnancy and the further out I was...I would swear that growing baby in there could 'hear and understand' me!!

My son....was

CLETUS the FETUS...
We had many long talks...Cletus and I....

I will keep all three of you in my prays though...

Congrats on the pregnancy! I hope everything goes well. My iron was low when I had my oldest son 13 yrs ago. Low iron isn't unusual. Just stay healthy.

Arrow Low Labs

Some of my labs came back kinda of low but the main one I am bugging out about is my TSH in my Thyroid is low. Which being in the medical field has my mind thinking about all kind of crazy reason why it is so low. Hyperthyrodism, Graves diease , somebody take my brain. I just broke down because in my heart I kind of felt like something might be wrong but you always want to stay positive but then things like this pop up. I am not really concerned what might happen to me as long as the baby will be OK but I know it doesn't work like that.

THANK YOU GUYS for being so supportive, it really means the world to me.

Oh Denise...it is ALL going to be just fine!! Take a nice bath...drink some co-co...and relax! Tomorrow is a new day... Hypothyroidism is treatable..I have had it for years..and with each of my pregnancies the levels went screwy...I had to be monitored monthly...but it was just a pill. I will cross my fingers for you, but try not to get yourself psyched out...put your medical knowlege to rest...and just be....

You are a STRONG and VIBRANT WOMAN...no matter what comes your way I know you will TACKLE it head on and be better for it! I have FAITH in your ability to handle this...Chin up, luv...with all of us rooting and praying for you...you will both get over this little hurdle. *HUGS* :-)
