My Aunt Would Like To Have The Surgery (gastric Bypass) , She Weighs A Good 450lbs, The Problem Is She Has Medical. I Remember Someone Had Posted Something About Ucsd Taking Medical. Does Anyone Remember? I Would Really Appreciate It!!!!!

When I had medi-cal about 6 years ago, I had a HMO and it was through UCSD healthplan. Have your Aunt call her social worker and ask them if it is the same and if they approve wls. Good luck.
