Default Whew!!! Finally on the FLIP side!!

Well, I am back at home! My surgery went real well, the doctor said that I was a perfect patient and my procedure went over well with no complications. I was VERY scared the morning of surgery, but got through it. The only problem that I have now is getting rid of all this gas! I didnt know that gas can be SO painful...and I also didnt realize how awesome it can feel to FART! I just wanna thank all you out there that have ever taken the time to read my posts, which I dont do very often, but I do lurk here daily. I thought about all the thousands of you out there that have had the courage to go through with WLS on the morning of MY own surgery, and I honestly believe that is what got me through the OR doors. All of your prayers, thoughts and postive words have really made a difference. Thank you all so much!...Now come on..give me a big ol' WELCOME!!!

WELCOME to the losing side Chrissy. Glad you made it safely. I had never experienced gas the way I did post-op. Thank God for Gas-X. Walking will also help get rid of some gas. I am sure you will post more now. So many questions and different feelings will start to come into play.
