I just want check in with my forum peeps and share a WOW moment I had last night. I'm just coming out of a long plateau, and doing the losing 2 lbs just during the day thing, and it's feeling good. Physically I feel like crap like usual, but the changes I've made are really starting to show. I wear size 10 in a stretch and 12 nonstretch. ANYWAY, last night we went to a dance, and I had found this little hottie shirt at Target to wear. I'm like 70 lbs down now. I had a wonderful time shocking the sh%t out of my friends, even my ex that I last saw at Christmas. It was a good hair night, and my back and stomach both agreed to behave. I was an actual Hottie again, caught a bunch of women checking me out!!! It's not all about the size n stuff, but it's one of my favorite fringe benefits! I got flirted with!

Michelle had a ball with it. She gave the eyeball to these women, then went on and on about how she loved having a trophy wife on her arm,,,,,I know I do go on, but the last 3 years have been one horrid occurrence after another, and I haven't had so much fun in many many years,,,,,

She told me I looked radiant, and I really felt that way.

Sorry to sound boastful or arrogant--it's not my intention. I think it's only fair that if I come on here to kvetch and moan, then I have the responsibility to share the victories as well. I wanna give a shout out to my forum, who support me, send me prayers, and understand the issues! Thank you all for being who you are and how you have helped me be the best Donna I can be

Way to go Donna....you are not boasting at all. You are just proud of yourself and how great you are doing and you deserve to share your accomplishments. Isn't it a great feeling!! Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!!! I am glad to hear that you and Michelle had a great time.

Donna are you serious girlfriend, you have been through hell. You so deserve to yell to the world at the top of your lungs about how great you feel and look. I think it wonderful your wife has your back like she does. It makes the process a little easier when you have someone on your team who appreciates and supports what your are doing. Hold on to this feeling, it is yours. Wear it proudly you so deserve it.

Karen, great job. This is a great place to talk about challenges and even a better place to voice how this has impacted your life. You go girl. You don't list your surgery date...If I remember correct, it was this past fall. Keep it going girl, soon those size 10 stretch won't stay up! Time for some new pics!
