Default Splenda problem?

I found Sweethearts sugarfree with Splenda at Target, and have been enjoying them. But I gave a box to a coworker yesterday, and today he said it was like getting a colonic cleanse. Several other coworkers agreed that they've had "digestive issues" after eating things with Splenda.

Does that happen to anyone here? I don't think it has that effect on me, so it never occurred to me to warn anyone else.

Arrow Splenda

Their reaction must be on an individual basis because, if Splenda gave everyone gastric distress, I would have a colostomy for sure!!!!

Most sugar-free foods/candies will cause a laxative effect with excessive consumption. It's on the label, and boy they ain't kidding!

I'd rather have a bag or sf gummy bears for a laxative effect than the oh so yummy stuff I have to drink the night before for my bowek prep - ewwwwww!!!
