I can tell you, she is 200% for me having the surgery. When I told her I was considering it she actually helped me decide to go for it. She has been pushing for the surgery for me from her end as well. Her whole office is just wonderful and very supportive. My co-morbidities are asthma which she thinks will be cured by this surgery (but I don't), and back pain (which she is positive will be cured). My bp is 110/80 usually, I don't have diabetes or any of the other bad problems, but I am EXTREMELY HUGE! I don't have the 6 month program, unless Slim_Fast for the past year counts.
