Default Cocktail party

I have to attend a very chi-chi cocktail party tonite. What do you guys drink in situations like this where you don't do alcohol, sugar or carbonated drinks?

Water on the rocks. They will never know. Or what you could do is have some juice but have it diluted very well. Have fun at your party tonite.

Default what to do

when i would go out if i couldn't get ice tea i would get nothing or just ask for water. now that i'm three years out, i'm going tonight to a cocktail party and i will get a diet coke, but i didn't do that until i was 2 1/2 years out. i only drink a little of it, but i really do it just to have a drink in my hand.

I hope you had fun at your party. I don't have solutions, but went to a bar last week with my BF to meet old work friends. I ordered hot tea......one of them looked at me and said, "Is that tea?" I said it was. "Just tea?" I said it was........she said, "You know you're in a bar, right?" lol

I'm late to the party, but when I was doing WW's I had a wise instructor who said that in a situation like that request your water in a small glass and with a twist of lemon or lime on the top.

It fooled a lot of people when she went out, and avoided a lot of questions. With the lemon or lime they just assume it's a clear alcoholic drink in the glass.
