Question A little challange for y'all

I got this idea from a BAriatric newsletter that I subscribe to and thought I would share this with you to see what ya come up with.

It was saying to set your goal weight, find someone whose size you would like to be (make sure they are around your same height) and ask them what size they are and/or how much they weigh.

I would like to have the East County folk report on this if you would at our next meeting.

Anybody have any idea what size Angelina Jolie wears? ( Like in Tomb Raider)

Pre operatively I said I wanted to be a 10, then when I got to 10 I wanted to be an 8, nothing smaller. I didnt know anyone that size... it just sounded good to me then.

Anybody else want to share?

Default I want to be

a size 8, nothing smaller. I am pretty healthy at that size. But I'm not losing real fast, and if I end up a size 10-12 I would be happy there too. Angelina Jolie is a size 2 or something rediculous.. Suzy

Damn her! Size 2 really?
I was thinking, okay I want to be a size 8, but if I could fit into a size 8 and weigh 200 pounds would that be okay? To me, absolutely not. To me I cant weigh more than 170 pounds, I freak out!!!!! I wonder what size I appear to be to other people? Im gonna have to ask n stuff...... when people see me and guess my weight they say 150.... but I just dont see how that is possible... damn all these numbers! lol

I wanted to be a sizwe 8 pre-op. Now, I am wearing 0-3 in juniors. It is hard to pick someone and say you want to be their size because everyone is different and may weigh the same, but look totally different and wear different sizes.

I asked someone once, and they were a size 10. I didn't ask her what she weighs since she was probably taller anyhow. I guess I kept saying I'd be happy at a size 14 or 16, but it was because I was afraid to hope for more. Now that I am a 14 I do hope for an 8 or 10.

Default I have no idea

I have always been so heavy - I can't imagine what size 8 would look like on me - and I'm really short, so I think that will make my sizes smaller, but I don't know much about it.

I should ask my best friend (duh) she's short too but I've never asked her her size. I think she weighs 125 though - don't think I can get that low...

I'll report back tomorrow - too late to call now.

What a good idea!

Vanity sizing (today's sizes) or yesteryears size 10??

I'm focused on a waist measurement and not today's vanity sizes.

When I lost 100 pounds with Weight Watchers I was a 10 at 155, so with surgery if I could get down to 135 or max 140, an 8 would be reasonable, I think - I secretly hope, though to be like Marie and Dale and be teenie weenie
