Default Funny story

I was at my bariatric water aerobics class yesterday. The women there were very sweet, but you guys are so much better informed. One woman who self admittedly has had a problem losing her last 50 pounds said, "if you want to get in much more protein, eat the yolks of the eggs and throw away the whites...they have nothing in them" That is sort of the type of support locally here. NOt very good advice!!! Thanks for being here.

Dyann I agree, there is tons of misinformation out there. Hey, thats great they have a water aerobics class for bariatric patients...never heard of that. Is the instructor a post-op patient too?

The hospital where I had my surgery has a wellness center with an indoor pool heated to 90 degrees. You get three months of free water aerobics classes as well as land exercise when you are cleared with having your surgery at the hospital. My doctor does about 5 a week so they have a water aerobics class just for the bariatrics. I just think it is so no one will feel self conscious in a bathing suit. The class is great. Putting on the web gloves really increases the resistance in the water. The instructor has not had the surgery, but she is very well informed and has been doing it for the bariatric patients for over 5 years.

Just eat the yolks??

I'd like to see her cholosterol levels!

Can I have a pound of bacon to go with that - thick cut?
