Lisa, I live in a larger city, but it is populated with ignorant people. I tell my husband often that an idiot is born every minute around here. This lab technician is obvioulsy very unprofessional, uneducated on weight loss surgery, and plain rude! You have to ignore people like that. You are right -- do not let anyone rain on your parade! Maintain a positive "I can do it" attitude -- you're going to do great!
