If they wanted to work with me they would have rescheduled the meeting. I just feel this substitute is young and inexperienced. She cannot control the classroom.
My daughter was suspended because a boy was picking on her and she kicked him in the nuts. Self defense, he picks on her all the time.

First off, I just want to say I understand the difficulties of raising and trying to figure out the issues of adopted children. It is definitely a challenging task. It doesn't help when you feel the "professionals" are not helping as they should. As for the suspension, as far as I know, they cannot suspend her if the misdeed is connected to a mental health issue or diagnosis. Although, in that scenario they could opt to send her to a "behavior school", which often is training camp to learn new and interesting tricks.

But you may need to get those diagnosis hammered out to help you fight for her rights. On an "all special issues aside" note........I HATE having to teach my kids that they cannot defend themselves. One of mine got suspended once for that also. It really irked me, as many adults said that my daughter had endured much taunting before the final blow. I hope you can get things running smoothly. Please keep asking for all the help and support you need.....I waited too long in the past and the problems mounted and bit me in the A$$eola later. Hang in there.
