Thumbs up First plane trip post op....

I'm SO excited! I'm going to get on a plane, March 24th to FINALLY go see my son, Jeffrey, in Florida!! Some of you know I haven't seen him in 6 years!!!! Our phones keep busy a LOT!
This will be the first plane trip since losing almost 200 pounds It will be quite a feeling not having to ask for an extender as I walk onto the plane, or even carrying my own as I've done for years, I gave mine to my mother!!!
I just wanted to share this with you all. First the fact that I'm getting to see my baby, hey, he's 30, but he's still my baby, 8 days with him, and, the fact that I'm going to get on a plane and be comfortable!!! Oh man!!!!

Sandi I am so excitied for you. Your finally getting some time away from your busy job, that is great. I am hoping I will be able to take a journey on a plane again and not go through the embarrassment of being pulled to the side and being told out the blue I need to pay for an extra seat. Sandi enjoy that moment when you sit in that seat. Life is good on the losing side. Your son is going to so happy to see you. I am so happy for you.

Sandi, that will be a great moment for you. You will have big smiles on your face when you buckle yourself in and the best part - nobody will know why you have a big smile on your face all the way to Florida.

That is just terrific!! One of the first things I want to do when I start losing and have made a lot progress is to take a trip via plane just so I don't have to be squeezed like a stuffed sausage into the seats. I never used an extension, and would actually (if I couldn't buckle it...which always made me sweat and breathe hard) out the belt across the lat to pretend like it was buckled because I didn't have the courage to ask for an extender....

Have a great time with your son!

You know already that I am thrilled for you. You so deserve this trip and will have so much fun. Jeffrey is not even going to recognize his skinny mom. I am so excited for you. I know you just can't wait.
