I had a breast reduction before wls. I went down to a 44C right after and then gained and got up to at least a 48C, now I'm a 34B. I'm thinking if I even lose one more lb that I might have to downgrade to an A! I'm having a tummy tuck on Dec 22. According to everything I have read, if you plan to have children you should wait until after for the TT. The pregnancy will just stretch everything back out. I'm pretty sure that anything else you may want to have done would be okay. There is a HUGE demand for nurses in my and throughout the country. Around here there is a 3 year waiting list to get in nursing school so you may want to get the ball rolling on that now.

I have not had any plastic surgery. But if your having a breast reduction you need to talk to your PS about nursing. I think depending on if and how much breast tissue they remove you may not be able to nurse. My best friend had a reduction and the surgeon told her she will be unable to nurse due to the amount of milk ducts and breast tissue they removed.

I had reconstructive surgery for body and boobies. It's better if you have children first and then worry about PS later. There are too many varibles and unknowns that will affect your body when you have PS. For us, there's so much more to reconstruct than for a woman who has PS from normal wear and tear.

I know breast reduction can really make it hard to nurse your baby because of how many milk ducts they damage or remove, though some women have managed it. I have loved nursing both my kids and I wouldn't want to take that chance, but thats me! You may luck out genetically and your skin will adjust pretty well to the weight loss - so you might just wait and see. Especially if you get prego right away, it might not be much of a problem and will make those strechy times much easier.

Good luck!
