I have another lady who works in another department, who is a single mother and on one income who I know could wear some of the office clothes and might really enjoy them, but I am scared to approach her in case I offend her.

I spent alot of money on my work clothes and would really like to have someone I know get good use out of them.
People have been "calling" my clothes for a long time and are just now slowing down since the clothes are smaller and I wear them longer. I used to walk into Karaoke and people would be like, "Hey, I want the sweater", and another would be like.............."the tanks mine". It was very funny. Sometimes if an outer garment was starting to get big I'd just take it off and hand it over. I always give first dibs to my friend that had surgery the week before me. But pants are out for her...I'm 5'1" and she's 5' 10"! lol If I were you, I would ask the woman simply and without fanfare if she'd like any of your clothes since you are ready to pass them along.

Hey sugar pea, her reaction is NOT your monkey. when I lost my weight I took my old scrubs into the office and offered them up to the mean co-worker who doesnt realize she is MO.. I took them in a white bag (so no one could "see" the fat clothes I used to wear) and said " hey I have a bag of scrubs in here, different sizes-take what you want, or if you "know" someone who could use them pass 'em on, if you dont want 'em, just give 'em back." I never saw them again. I saw her wearing the pants, and then talking about how they were "falling" off her... lol, whatever! Other peoples reactions to your generosity.. you cant worry about what she might say and just go for it!

I'm down almost 90 pounds since surgery and I have to say, I haven't noticed my shoe size getting any smaller. In fact, I just bought a new pair of cross trainers and I had to get them a 1/2 size larger. Go figure!
