thought I was in dictation - but another test to be done - ThinnerTimes

As of Wednesday thought I was almost there but today got a call from the office and Dr. Potts wants one more test redone. So....by the time it is faxed to my primary - hopefully Monday, then they have to put it in their computer, hopefully the same day, then the next day go for the test and who knows how long it will take for the results....and on and on and on. Bummer!!!
My first major hold up was with my psych evaul - went on a Friday, she was going on vacation the next week - thought only for one week but it was two and then took over a week and a half to do my evaul. Story never ends.
OK, I'll quit complaining. But I do have a question for any one out there who has Pacific Care. Do you know, once everything is submitted how long it takes to get an answer?? Do they usually take the full month even though I appealed once already and they did take a full month to answer me back. Any info would be appreciated
Thanks muchly and I really enjoy reading everyones thoughts. I've learned a lot and hope to continue learning

I know it's one more test, but it's one more step closer to your goal! Be sure to follow that test request all the way until the results are back into your file in Dr. C's office. Offer to pick it up, drive it there, fax it here. It may help to lessen the number of days involved. Good luck! You're close.

Be comforted that Dr. Potts is so thorough. If there's a question about a lab result and it needs redone, I'm sure there's a good reason for it. Dr. Potts wants everything to be in order before going to dictation.

It will happen. Keep your chin up. The majority of us took many months to get through the process. You're not alone in this struggle. When it is all over, you'll look back a realize how fast time went.

Hello Cindy....My name is Tonya and I have Pacific Care. From what I understand it should only take a week to hear back. (got this from the woman (don't remeber her name) who did the billing. They can take up to 30 days, but it may only take a week. Hope this helps a little.
