Angry issues with my scale

I'm not sure if it's just trying to spare my feelings or if it's just afraid i'll kick its a** if I knew the truth, but the reality is that my bathroom scale is lying to me!

there is no two ways around it. I went in to the Dr.'s office today and granted i expected some fluctuation but that scale read 25 more pounds than my digital scale THIS MORNING: eek:

i know every scale is different, but 25lbs!! geez louise!

Unhappy Oh Lord

Holy sh*t, Rose...they have nice scales at Costco! (Oops, I forgot...you probably don't have Costcos in Dallas, huh?) Well, then...

They probably have nice scales at Sam's Club!

Default Lose The Scale!

I have an adversion to scales, and prefer to just measure my success. Suzy

Sometimes the Dr's ofc scale will read heavier. I have heard many stories about it. Some think it is to make you appear heavier on your medical records pre operatively. All scales are evil in my opinion, I pretty much stay away from them and see how I feel in my clothes.

I just bought a brand new scale from Costco and I weighed ten pounds more than the doctors office just the same morning. So my conclusion is not to rely on the scale for reassurance. Good luck!
