Hi everyone!
I hope this is the appropriate place for a newbie to break in to the threads. I started my journey on 10/21/05 with a visit to my doctor, and am in the midst of the pre-op testing. I've had my labs (they discovered high cholesterol), chest x-rays, and abdominal ultrasound. I am scheduled for my psych. eval. on 11/18, and I have radiologist/cardiologist stuff on 11/23 and 12/9. I am still waiting for an appointment with the dietician, the pulmonary specialist, and the sleep study, so I guestimate my surgery will be sometime in January.
I decided to register because we are a unique bunch of people, and I read through several of the posts this past weekend, and felt somewhat connected (sorry of that sounds corny...). I am excited to share your jouneys as well as mine!
