Looking Forward
Besides improved health, what is something that you look/looked forward to after having the surgery?
I personally am looking forward to my boobs sticking out farther than my stomach.
Oh yeah, and I want to stop shopping at Lane Bryant. Their clothes are cute (and expensive) but it mentally does something to you when you have to shop at the "big" store.

Well I am post-op and I still looking to what my body will mold it self to look like. I am excited because I think I am going to have one of thoes coke-bottle shapes. I do look forward to walking in a room and knowing I being looked at because I am looking Fab-Bo and not because I am the biggest person there.

Personally, I'm looking forward for my boobs NOT to stick out at all!

Well, unless you're wearing a good bra or get a lift, your boobs may not stick out all

Amen Marie. I paid alot of money to get my boobs to stand up at attention after losing all my weight! But I am now the proud owner of a new set of boobs that don't need a bra to hold them up. I have maintained my current weight for over one year but I am constantly looking forward to new adventures that I could not imagine in my prior life. I will be 50 on February 20th and I can't wait...... my 40's sucked but my 5-'s are gonna rock! Watch out, here I come! Being thin is so friggin' awesome, it creates a whole new world for you... there are endless possibilities for all of you in your new bodes. Hold on, you are in for the ride of your life!

Besides getting much healthier, I'm looking forward to feeling more comfortable in social situations...I'm ready to get out there and party like I mean it! AND to be able to look at a photograph of myself and not be slapped in the face with how fat I am! At times I can go around almost convincing myself that I'm not that big, until I see myself in a picture. It's so depressing.

Boobs? What boobs? I had them at one time and had a reduction and was a normal C cup. Now they are gone-I think they ran off to the South Pacific! If any of you happen to spot them, Please give me a call. There will be a reward!
I looked forward to a lot of stuff when I was pre-op and I have gotten to do most everything on my list. it was the little things that meant the most. Not having to shop in the plus sizes anymore, being able to tie my shoes without having to do that weird angle side bend (you all know what I'm talking about), the steering wheel not rubbing my stomach (I cried when I realized it didn't anymore), being able to walk upstairs without getting out of breath, etc. It just keeps getting better the further along I go!

Go-Go boots!!
I am still looking forward to the day I can get some full leg boots on. I still can't zip any past my fat calves...who would think with my size and all that this still isn't possible. Even stretch boots won't work. I will keep dreaming.

Boobs
I've been thinking so much about my stomach going away I didn't give thought to the fact that my boobs will too. Great now I'm gonna have a couple of flat tires hanging off of my chest.
