Default I've Almost reached my goal

Just wanted to let those of you out there who set a weight goal before their
surgery know that I am 16 pounds shy of my goal. I never dreamed I would be able to be my old self again. I was dying in my obesity and it seemed to have control of my body. I now have movement and energy like I use to when I was not obese. My dream has come true. I want to reach my goal by my 1st year anniversary in 6 weeks.

You don't know how good that sounds to the pre-op patient! Congratulations to you and your success!

Cheryl,
Thank you for sharing your success. I am only 3 weeks out and can't imagine what it will feel like to be so close to my goal.
Good luck with the last 16 pounds

Smile Congratulations Cheryl

Cheryl,

I am so happy for you and so glad that you shared this with all of us optomistic people who still have a little doubt left in them. We love the success stories and knowing that it is a possibility.. thanks so much and much congratulations. You're going to do great with those last measly 16 lbs. I haven't set a goal for myself but Kelly did. I'm just not sure where I should or want to be yet. Of course as good as I feel now I don't know if I really care if I lose one more lb. But I know that I really do want to hit a goal of some sorts.. good luck to you..

Thanks so much for posting this here. You really give us newbies a hope to be there soon. I'm only 3 weeks out and have lost 31lbs as of today and I can't wait to be where you are. Congrats on your loss.

Great news from all of you!

I changed my goal weight because 140 seems unattainable to me. I am 5 foot 7 inches tall and 140 is my "ideal" weight but I put my "goal" weight at 158 because that puts me in the NORMAL size catagory on the BMI chart!!! I can handle being normal (although I never have been in ANY sense of the word!! <LOL>)

I know that with hard work and following a good eating habit, I will be able to reach my goal too!!
