It was a good article, I'm 2 months off and still fighting with a) The overeating and the craving of nasty stuff. B) chewing, sometimes I bite too big and I don't chew as much as I should so I feel that bad pain in my pouch like I swallowed broken glass and someone kicked me in the stomach. but I'm learning to use my tool.

Talking Marty

Hi Marty, do you still live in Madrid,Iowa? I am from Ankeny. I have alot of the issues you talked about. I have the nasty taste, water tastes terrible. Just about all fluids taste metallic. I miss some foods terribly!!!! I was a carnivor(Meat eater) and now just baby bites of turkey, chichen, fish . I miss sweets something awful,I was a carboholic!!!! But then on the positive side I can get into clothes I bought years ago that still have the new tags on them and that makes me feel like it might be all worth it. I'm only about 3 weeks out and am down about 28 lbs. Now fantastic but I'm pretty happy with it! You are right, it is by far NOT the easy way out and anyone who thinks it is is a fool! I hope you feel like you made the best decision and I hope I did too. Glad to see a good ole Iowa boy on here too! Take care,Mike
