Default Good Gastric Bypass Info / Diet Book???

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know of a good book that give info on the bypass and diet/recipes for post-op. I saw "weight loss surgery for dummies", which sounded right up my alley, but hate the idea of spending 22 dolloars on a book if there is a better one out there. Let me know if you have any ideas.. Thanks.

Jim

Jim,
You can download the 'Dummies' from this web site. Just do a search on the forum for it.

I bought weight loss for dummies and some other book they were both by the same author. I suggest you buy just one of them. Weight loss for dummies was a good informative book.

I also bought two great books on working on the inside stuff that I have since bought about 6 copies for friends and family.

Why Weight? A guide to Ending Compulisive eating by Geneen Roth and Breaking Free from Emotional Eating by Geneen Roth. You can buy them used at Amazon.com for about 5-8 buck each. They are great, great, great books.

I bought and read all of the books by Geneen Roth long before I had my surgery... they are very good! I highly recommend any of her stuff. Suzy
