"Let's Talk About Sex" - WLS related
Hi All,
I host a weekly radio program that deals with WLS-related topics. Tomorrow night's show is themed "Let's Talk About Sex." I think it's an important topic that's related to weight loss surgery and our bodies pre and post-surgery.
I am hoping to start interesting and engaging discussion about it in a very open, honest, and adult way (meaning, I don't want things to be getting randy or offensive). I'd love some suggestions for discussion points that fall within this theme. Feel free to post your suggestions here as a comment, or if you'd prefer to remain more anonymous, you can email your suggestions to radio@divataunia.com.
If anyone is brave enough to call in tomorrow night, the show starts at 7:00pm EST, and the call-in # is (347) 857-2052. You can absolutely remain anonymous if you want.
Thanks for your suggestions, much appreciated!

I think this is WLS-related, although I guess I don't know for sure. Since my surgery, I, um, lack lubrication. Know what I mean? And I never, never, never had that problem before. I assume it's due to hormone changes caused by the surgery, but I'd like to know for sure. What I'd really like is to be able to fix it. Other than just buying lube, I mean.

Me too, and the way I achieve and orgasm is totally different. Frustrating.

I'm with you, Corrine. Its a sad day when I dont even miss it. Is that WLS related? Lack of interest and desire? or is that the product of a messed up, scarred up body?

I haven't had the surgery yet. But I can defiantly say that my body fat IS interfering with my sex life. And it isn't that my husband isn't interested it is me! I struggle with the way I look naked and my lack of... mobility.
I'm also a cancer survivor and have body issues from that. To top it all off I do not take hormone replacement therapy after my hysterectomy and my desire and.... comfort when the desire is there has been effected.
(For those of you out there dealing with dryness ask your doctor for a vaginal ring. It made a world of difference for me and has no mess and little maintenance. If anyone wants more info PM me.)
One of the reasons I'm getting this surgery is so I can feel better about my naked body, move better, and have more energy. Saggy skin... well I'll deal with that when that bridge comes.

I'm the complete opposite. While I was fine before, I find myself in "overdrive" more frequently these days, ala a 15 year old boy!*lol* Unfortunately, my drive has surpassed my SO's.
