Default Exercise Ball?????

Anyone have one or use one? I am still having knee problems and can not walk much. I was hoping maybe a little bouncing and streching on the ball will help me at least get in some exercise. Thanks in advance!

I Haven't tried the ball but have you tried hydrotherapy. It's basically walking back and forth in a pool. It is very low impact and the water resistance gives you a great workout.

Default I had one

I had one pre-op .. well many years before I had my surgery and it broke.. I guess I didn't read the weight restrictions very well. I use one at the gym though and I love it. I use it for stretching before my workout.

Like Jim said though, swimming or walking in the water is great for a low impact workout and is good for you too..

I never used one, but my Mom uses it and loves it for stretching. She had major back surgery and the ball helps her a lot.

Great to get a killer 6 pack! Good for stretching and strength training. Not as good for aerobic exercise unless you get a Bosu Ball. A Bosu ball is a half exercise ball on a platform. You can do more with one of those.

I tried walking in my pool but the resistence hurts my knee too much it is more painful than the GBS was. I looked at a few online and they have a max weight os 600+ pounds so I think I am ok . Unless my husband and all 4 kids hop on with me ......rofl!
I am going to order one hopefully this week. I am sure it will come in handy even when my knee is better.

Default Size Matters!

I got one the 75" and it was too big. I got it to sit on at my computer and kept getting stuck under the keyboard. When I would try to get out I almost went over backwards. I took it back and going to get a smaller one

Suezq, I ordered it and resistence (sp?) bands I will let you know when they get here how I like it.
Marcia, I ordered the 75 ball I will probably underinflate it untill I get used to it, they say that helps with the balance.
