Red face I caved in, I am so bad

ok I know this is bad and I couldn't stop myself. After 4 months of going strong I fell off the soda wagon and drank a siera mist. I was feeling deprived, and like everyone was getting all the goods and I was standing on the side lines looking in. I wanted a soda bad, and you know what is really bad is that before my surgery I could of cared less if I had a soda or anything like that. I am sipping it slowly and it is going down good. I just know I should have never done this but I just couldn't stop myself. I feel like I am at an AA meeting and I am confessing that I have a problem lol.

Don't beat yourself up over a few sips of soda. Heck, I'm known to have a stiff drink or two and wolf down a few Twinkies.

I have been craving a Diet Pepsi for a LONG time now. I haven't had one in 13 months. It's getting harder and harder not to do it. I just know that I won't stop with a sip.
Don't worry about it, just don't drink them all the time. Trust me when I tell you we ALL do things we shouldn't, but we do it anyways. It's all good. I hope that you enjoyed it!

You know the biggest thing for me is to remember I had this surgery to live a "normal life whatever that is" not to live my life on a diet. I don't have one all the time but once in a while I'll have about a half of one. Like everyone else said don't beat yourself up we all do it.

You all are way to funny, and thanks for opening my eyes... I never really thought of this being a diet or not, and I guess I have been treating myself as if I am on this crazy diet. I forgot the important part of it.... living life and being happy while being me thank peeps.

Sue, you poor sweet dear! I'll make a confession too-I occasionally eat a half a piece of whole wheat toast with sugar free jelly and once in a while I have a couple of bites of pasta. I tried to drink a sip of diet coke and it hurt sooo bad I haven't tried again. Confession is good for the soul but a couple of sips is no biggie in the grand scheme of things! I'm, just glad you are feeling well enough to try anything with all you have been through!
