Yep... that's south..... so what's that make Mississippi? Cause that's where my hubby is from. First words he ever said to me were, "You sure are purdy." I thought he sounded like Ennus Strait from the Dukes of Hazzard. God love a southern man! And just FYI... My son went bow hunting for the first time at age 7, and has recently been enrolled in his gun safety course to get his first hunting liscence. I'm a southern girl at heart myself.

I laughed so much when I read that! I'm a northerner through and through...I've never even been anywhere east of TX or south of OH, so I have never really had a real southern experience. Now all of my family either lives in MN or So. Cal, so I don't even have a reason to venture down there. Someday though!

I LOVE Paula! Right after surgery, when I was obsessed with the Food Network, I used to watch Paula's show every chance I could. She cooks just like my family...great tasting food, but terrible for your health! Paula is a lot like the women in my family too. She's great.

My husband would kill me if I didn't wear a slip. some dresses and skirts are pre-lined so you don't need one, but he will tell me if he can see my chonies.

I was born in PA, but being a military brat, we traveled all over the world. Dad retired in South Georgia, so I spent all my pre-teen and teenage years down there, so I am southern by choice. I'm in VA now, and some consider that "south", but it's more middle of the road. I am a diehard Georgia Bulldogs fan, and always will be, even if I lived at the North Pole. Bring on the grits!!!!
