Default Staples Removed??

I have had my Gall Baldder out, but I can not for the life of me remeber how long it was before they removed the staples (had it done lap). Can someone tell me how many days until you go back in and have them removed with WLS?

I just remember that the Dr. lost a staply wayyyyy down in my belly button and had to dig it out...that hurt worse than the flippin surgery!!

I had my gall bladder taken out a bunch of years ago,lap procedure also and they didnt use staples. Same with lap GBP, no staples... I wish i could be of help regarding that. BUT, I do work for a surgeon and typicaly staples come out after 14 days. You dont want to wait cuz the skin can grom over them and be bothersome and painful to remove! Hope that helps sugar pea!

I had never seen inside of me...it was deep and you could see the different layers of fat...crazy...the Dr.would not close it up again..he said it would heal from the inside out and it did about three weeks later. Good Luck~ Van
