Woo hoo! I had my appointment with the surgeon today. It went great...except for the part where I was partially naked in a gown with my mother sitting in the doctor's office with me.

Anyway, the surgeon was very nice and now it's a matter of getting approval from my insurance. Well, my insurance already has approved it...but the surgeon just needs to get the OK. Everything went pretty smoothly...except for the fact that the doctor I had for the psych eval forgot to fax her referral ah well. I'm expecting a call any time now for a pre-op appointment and a *gulp* surgery date. I'm almost there!

"We'll take care of you"... this was spoken by my surgeon, which made me feel very comfortable.

I'm nervous, excited, and above all - anxious!
