I took me a little over a year to lose my first 100 lbs. and I got to that point of losing hope, but the weight came off eventually. Even to this day, I'm still losing... So keep your chin up, and before you know it, you'll see a new you.

I would have to say, you are losing at a nice rate and should have no concerns. 115 lbs in 7 months???? WOW!!! Again, it took me a little over a year to lose my first 100 lbs. You're doing great! And for a few days of being stalled - that's normal. Your body is trying to adjust.....let it catch up! Again, you're doing great!!!

Seems my body likes the weight to be around 168-173 pounds. Would much prefer to be closer to 150 but I'm not gonna complain.................. well not to much anyways... cause it sure beats 300.

Just what I have been told by the surgeon, but with GB the body loses for 18 months and then it gets smart and re-adjusts and the going gets tougher as we then really need to work at it as opposed to??? LOL!
But I think your weight loss Mel, is remarkable and I can only imagine your body is simply readjusting a bit after such a drastic loss.
Imagine pre-surgery-losing 115 pounds in eight months?
Last time I dieted, it took me over a year and a half to lose about 85 pounds and I was exercising 4, yes, 4 hours a day!
I have lost about 38 pounds since my two week pre-op and I am starting week four post -op. 21 of those pounds was pre-surgery from my two week liquid fast. I have also had the flu since my surgery so I have not been my usual active. I have to be patient until I get the food/exercise/normal lifestyle back in gear.
I think we are driving ourselves crazy with our pre-surgery nightmares still haunting us-most of us have fears of failure and doom from our past diet failures as diets do not work!!! We have been set up too many times with expectations, only to find we hit a wall and gain back everything.
