Excuse me if I ask a personal question or offend anyone but I have to ask...

After WLS, will my sex drive reapear?

Does it get better? Or will have to become a nun as my husband is threating? If it does reoccur, when?

I used to be, huh, shall we say quite active. Well, that has since given way to extreme fatigue. I know that my energy will come but will EVERYTHING come back? I can only pray that will happen.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My sex drive returned..... and sex is SO much better now. If I would have known how fantastic it would be 125+ pounds lighter, I would have wired my jaws shut years ago. I have more stamina, and go all night long now too.. no more sweat, fatigue and dry mouth! lol

Also many ladies keep talking about how ther husbands cant keep their hands off of them now..... oh to have such problems!

This is going to be a very fun thread.. just watch-Im looking forward to all the responses... especially Marie's!

Well lets just put it this way from me my 23 year old fiance can't keep up any more. When we were together 5 years ago I couldn't keep up with him...LOL You know and that is so funny because my honey has always been very hands on with me but in the last few months I can't walk into the room and him not be touching me or kiss me.

I have to tell a quick story. Yesterday I wore a shirt that had some words right above my boobs. We were as the store picking up a few things for dinner and the guy was reading my shirt then kept looking at my boobs(my honey said) my honey got to the point by the time we were done checking out he had put his arm around my waist and was paying while looking at this guy. It is so funny this is the first time he has done this. He was tickling me with his arm around me and smiling the whole time. When we walked out I asked him what that was about and he laughed and said I liked making that guy crazy because he kept looking and knows now he can't have you. LOL I love his train of thought.

First of all, feel free to ask ANY question you wish. There is no such thing as too personal. Well, there is but this isn't it. I had gotten to where I couldn't stand to even take my clothes off and sex was a chore. I was too big to move and position wise we were very limited. I've lost 100 lbs and things are back to where they were when we first got married. The sex is way more frequent and much more enjoyable. I also have a lot more interest and initiate sex more often than I did when we were younger. I've had a hysterectomy and didn't think wls would change things this much but it has.

In my head, I'm this crazy sex pot. Then again, I always was. In reality, I haven't been able to act on it for the past several years. I definitely want to try out my new body. Just waiting for the chance.

Sex At 486lbs Was To Say The Least A Chore. At 390, Its Getting Better. My Body Has Changed And Things Are More Accessable. Plus Things Have Grown, Not Just Less Fat In The Way, Bigger Better Stronger. Feel Like The Bionic Man. The Doc Says Thats It Is A Hormon Imbalance. Who Knows. The Drive Is Incredible, Feel 18 Again. Cant Wait To Be Under 300. Need To Be Careful, Already Have 4 Kids. :d

I just recently had wls but can speak about my experience losing weight about 3 years ago (before gaining it back and having surgery). Sex was much better. I felt more confident and sexy. I could buy lingerie at VS

But the thing that made it AWESOME was having my lower body lift and thigh lift! All that extra skin got out of the way, my stomach was flat and fabulous (it is going back to that - thank goodness) and for some strange reason things were tighter. I have no idea why but they were. Hubby loves my stomach

and can't get enough of it.

Let's just say that my husband is very happy man.

I enjoy just laying around naked and cuddleing and I am enjoying sex for the first time in a really really long time. My husband is very much enjoying his new wife and I am enjoying my new self. I feel so much sexier now and that really helps in the desire department. Before he would want to have sex and all could think of was how fat I was and how gross I felt about myself. Now I am enjoying my body and so is my husband.
