Talking I got my answer

Hello everyone....sorry I havent posted in awhile, had guest from out of town and my son is out of school. Been really busy. Anyway, my husband kept pushing me to call my insurance company and asked about my appeal. I was so nervous, so I kept putting it off. Today he kept bugging me about calling. My dr suggested it as well. Anyway, my consult was approved. Now what happens? Now the support group and nutrition seminar, do I need too rsvp to attend? One last question.....I know I read this somewhere, but can't figure out where. Can they deny you after your consult with the dr? Will I need to jump through hoops to get a approval? Anyway, just an update.

I just showed up at the groups, but I think they prefer if you let them know which ones you'll attend. T

So far, I haven't read that anyone has gotten denied surgery after getting apporved for consult. Generally, things move fast after consult approval.

For the first seminar you do have to RSVP because that one is way booked. It took me almost 6 weeks to get into that one. After that one you just show up. Hope this helps let me know if you have any other questions I'm glad you help.

XOXO

Smile Initial education seminar

You have to call the office and RSVP, dont expect to get into one right away. After that, you start your testing and you are on your way. If I were you I would make an appointment with your OBGYN, unless you have been to one within the past year. This is called your well woman visit. I dont know how long your OBGYN books out to, but this will help you get the ball moving quicker as well. Good luck! Best wishes!
