Default starbucks

Hi all, I am still on Starbucks butt about the Vanilla Silk Soy drinks. For those of us who are lactose intolerant and need to drink soy beverages, beware that the soy used at Starbucks has a significant amount of sugar in it. I think Suzanne brought this to our attention about a month ago. I have e-mailed Starbucks several times and each time I get a response, they thank me for the information (like I am just informing them of something they didn't know). So, I called 800-23-latte and spoke with customer service. Although they are very nice and promise to pass the info on to R&D, I think I am shouting into the wind here. If you like Starbucks and need to drink soy, would you please call customer service and ask that they offer regular soy without the vanilla? If enough of us call, maybe, just maybe, someone will listen. I stop by Starbucks quite frequently on the way home from work to get my husband and sons a drink and have a small soy latte, but I would really like to cut back on the sugar whenever possible. I just don't feel it's necessary to have sugar in a coffee drink when that is not your preference. Thanks for you help. Anne

It is just like the new light frappachino's. they are not sugar free, but people think they are. I emailed about making a No Sugar Added one since Coffee Bean makes some and they thanked me and than came out with the light. We'll see if they really want our business. I will go out of my way to go to Coffee Bean for a NSA Iced Blend

Smile Star, not getting my bucks!

Man I keep emailing them and complaining about their selection of sugar free syrup flavors... I keep getting that, we heard you, we'll consider it, we'll pass along the information.... I do okay with milk, but their selection for sugar free based drinks just flat out sucks! Can anyone think of anything more grand scale to get their attention?

Smile Something grand scale

I am going to write Starbucks and tell them I am no longer going to patron their business, that I feel they are not as responsive to my/our needs as their competitor THE COFFEE BEAN! What do you say? Who's with me? Maybe the Friday nights Starbuck meeting can be changed to the Coffee Bean... what 'cha think?

Default meeting at starbucks

the reason for the friday night meetings at starbucks are because people meet in the court yard there and usually have dinner from one of the restaurants there. there's daphne's greek and rubio's and i can't remember what else. it's not so much for starbucks. it's the dinner hour and people usually want to eat dinner as well. just something to keep in mind.

What if you bring your own soy milk? I wonder how that would go over

Can't vouch for all their locations, but the Hillcrest and Mission Hills Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores are my vast preference over the competing Starbux in these neighborhoods. The Starbux coasts along on its reputation, stores always crowded, no place to sit down and read the paper while having a coffee, while the nearby Coffee Beans are uncrowded, friendly, relaxed, and so far as I can tell, sell pretty much the same stuff.

Isn't there a Coffee Bean up in Vista too? I thought I had seen one there, but as I am not a Coffee drinker didn't pay much attention.
