Wow, Denise snuck that in on us! Hurrah for her! After 7 1/2 years she deserved this so much.

So Denise, don't be a stranger, tell us how you're doing when you get home, k? Hugs, and quick recovery!

Lightbulb I'm Back

I posted how my surgery went in the post-op area. I thank all you guys that came by and sent your concerns and prayers. I am feeling great just a little tired but great other wise. I am in shocked how well I am doing. Only trouble I am having is not being able to eat anything. Just ice, water and Propel. But I am blessed and thankful where God has brought me. It is all a blessing. I was weighted before I left and I had gained 2 pounds because all the swelling and the IV fluids that was in my body so I didn't freak out because I know my body has just been through a tramatic experience. I hope to report a nice little weight loss soon but in time.

Hey Deinise,

My surgery was JUly 5, and I too gained weight right out of the hospital. I am 12 days out and still can't button up my loosest jeans. I know my body and am still swollen and full of water. It's just going to take some time to adjust. I like your spirit.
Hang in there.

Hey Minime I can relate to your situstion as well. I must say I am not disappointed at all because I know when the time is right the weight will come off. I understand that I didn't put it on over night so I have to give it time. I am sure in no time you will tell me those loose jeans are bout ready to fall after you button them up. I am rooting for you Minime .
