Thumbs up I've gotta share this...

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to share with you that I have just broken 200. This weekend I weighed in at 198 pounds!!! I just can't believe that this is me. I started at 374 pounds in March 2003. Now, after losing 176 pounds, I just don't know how I was able to get up every day and go to work or do the every day things one must do. This surgery, Dr. Callery, and all of you have given me my life back.

All those who have pre-surgery jitters, this surgery will work for you if you follow all the guidelines. I too had those jitters. I almost got up and left the hospital the morning of surgery. I am so glad now that I didn't! Just remember that we are all here for you when you need us.

Thumbs up Wooooooo hooooooooo Andi!!!!!!!!

Andi,

CONGRATS Girlfriend!!! OMG That must be an incredible feeling!!! I can't wait to get there.. I am thinking very soon too.. I weighed in at 203 yesturday so you never know.. omg what a feeling!! I am so happy for you. You have had an incredible ride. What a story you have to share. 173 lbs lighter!!! all I can say is WOW!!! You are definitely an inspiration to many.. including myself. You are right about sticking to the guidelines. But I know that the further out you get the harder it must be. I am taking full advantage of the honeymoon period. Now I have strayed once or twice but came right back on track. I had a smigin of an oatmeal rasin cookie and a drop of vanilla ice cream but just enough to taste. I tasted it said oh that was good and went along my merry way without thinking oh I need to get a whole cookie or an ice cream cone.. I just wanted to taste a different flavor and I did. I know that sounds bad, but you know what.. I am not going to beat myself up over it. I have done good otherwise and I did not consume enough calories to force weight gain or bad habits. And actually I was very proud of my restraint.. if that makes any sense. Thanks for reinforcing the notion of the rules.

You are doing so incredible.. keep up the good work.. and thank you for sharing.. there are so many that need the guidence from the old posties and seems as if most are off being busy living their own new life which is good for them.. don't get me wrong.. but we do appreciate when you guys post.. just so ya know!!

Default Way to go Andi!!

Congrats Andi! Wow! I look forward to that day too, but I am just 5 days out! I hit a road bump yesterday, ran a fever most of the day, highest got to 101.6 but it finally broke during the night, I woke up sweating and knew the worst was over. I'm doing great today. Stacie, how are you feeling with the pain meds change? I hope you are doing better. You gotta love those cream soups sweetie!!! My sister made me an awesome zuchinni cream soup that is so good. Sandi and Dale, God bless you both as you begin your road to the other side. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. You are both such special ladies, I can't wait to meet you all. How was the picnic?
