Default Congratulation Andi

Hey Andi...

I'm so happy for you! Slowly but surely you're getting there. Whoo Hoo! These little goals we set for ourselves make us feel so great when we meet them. I haven't seen you in a little while, I know when I do next it will be quite noticeable. Why you're just fading away... hehehe.

Congratulations!

Hi Anna,

I am responding to a question you had about getting approved when you don't weigh as much as some.

Well, I can say that while I was 285 and that was alot for me, I was smaller than some.

My experience was positive because I had a history of working with my doctor trying to lose weight.

I had structural problems like back, feet and knee pain. This was on going exagerated by my job and increasing in severity as was my weight.

My doc requested a consult and I was approved quickly.

The consultaton was in Sept and I had surgery 12-27.

I personally feel that by having the surgery before I broke the 300 pound mark made it better for me.

Depending on how tall you are you may have a B.M.I. of over 40 which is the minimum for this surgery.

Hope this helps.

For me, well....I feel like I won the Lottery of Life and I just got started with lots more to go. But I am on my way!!

Anna,

I just realized your age.

This could make things more challenging. Paulina is a girl who had this surgery at 17 recently, you may want to ask her.
