Default Thank You Everyone!

Thank you, everyone! Your support and well wishes mean so much to me!

The pain isn't too bad at all. At the worst it feels like a really bad stomach ache. I have had the hiccups a couple of times and that hurts a little bit but not too bad.

I can't express how happy I am that he was able to do it laproscopically!

Wow, happy for you (and me) that your pain is manageable. It sounds like you're gonna fly right through this! I can't wait to hear updates.

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.

Tiffany,

I hadn't noticed your surgery was so recent. I'm glad to hear your recovery is going so well also. Your weight loss so far is awesome! Does it feel different already? Do you feel weak or anything? Are you able to exercise yet? I am hoping to exercise someway asap so I can try and tighten as much skin as I can. I'm worried about feeling unhealthy and baggy with the initial fast loss.

Marty,
Yes, I feel completely different already. I haven't gotten any headaches and I feel great. I was very weak until I started on the pureed diet 2 days ago. I suddenly got my strength back, I think it is because I am eating more calories and protein. I can exercise now, but only walking. If I exert myself too much then I do get tired. But I can go to the grocery store and clean my entire house and not be exhausted so I guess I am doing good.

Thanks for the nice words! I can't believe how much I have lost already! I don't feel unhealthy but I do feel like my legs are less firm and they wiggle a bit when I walk, and they were firm despite being fat before surgery. My husband says my butt is squishier, too. I need to seriously work out!

I almost backed out of the surgery. I got pretty anxious right before. My heart rate was up to 129 - almost twice what it was during my pre-op check. I am not sure why I got so scared but I did reach a point where I figured - well, I have gone through this much anxiety it would be stupid to back out now. I am really glad that I went through with it!

Glad you're back and things went so well for you! Even though you feel fine make sure you take it easy for a week or two. You don't want to over do it at this point. Let us know how you are doing!

Tiffany,

Thanks for the honest answers. I want to avoid squishy on the few things that used to be kinda firm (the same things as you). I'll have to be figuring out some ways to work on them. It sounds like you're doing fantastic though.
