Default what waist size for a man idea

I started out with size 44 jeans. I am wearing a pair of 34's and they are loose. When should I start getting worried? I going to pick up a size 32 at Goodwill but I don't want to ever need them. I am less then 6 months out! My weight is 195 and I am 5'10", which is still over what I should be according to the charts. Ladies what waist size would you consider idea for a 5' 10" man?

A size 32 is fine. My husband use to wear a size 32 and is in a 34 now. You will know if you get too thin. I wouldn't start to worry until you go below a size 30 waist.

I say whatever you're comfortable with. I have always heard that some people who have WLS go through a brief period when they might drop a little lower than they planned and then they level back out. That might not even be happening to you though. 32 does not sound too small to me, but it all depends on your own feelings.

You can always call your doc and ask how you can maintain the weight you are at. There are things you can do to keep yourself at a stable weight.

Good luck!

32 sounds about right for the height. Would think 195 would get you a little higher.

I would say 32 or 34 either one is about my ideal. My hubby was a 29 when we got married and now he's a 34 and a whole lot sexier!

You asked the ladies but I would chip in that 32 doesn't sound too small to me.

On "Seinfeld," Jerry Seinfeld would scratch off the 32 on his jeans tag and put in "31."

Talking My thoughts.....

32 seems small for a man...you are medium height...hmmmm...I guess I will be alone here when I say I like BIG boys...My hubby is 6'4 and 240.... funny how I love big men and yet I was so insecure about myself pre -op.

Best wishes~Your pictures looked awesome BTW....Great Job!

Vanessa:

I'm the same way...I love big boys. I don't want no skinny men...I like my men with meat on their bones. I think it's because I always felt like such a huge woman...I never wanted to feel bigger than my man. My hubby is 6'0", 240 lbs., and has a 40" waist. I love him just as he is! So, to me, 32" is too tiny! Sorry!

I was a size 32 in my senior year of High School, and I would be elated to reach that size again. I felt healthy and looked good. I also had some great stamina (I was able to run 5 miles and not really break a sweat).
