Default Three Years and Counting

Today is my 3 year surgery anniversary! I can't believe it has already been that long. This journey has been quite the ride but at the start of this journey I never thought it would be such an awesome and dream inspiring journey. Even with the few complications I have had no one could ever pay me enough to go back to where I was 3 years ago. The health benefits alone have made this journey worth it but the actual feeling of being able to live life, enjoy the day and embrace this process....well there are no words. I have dreams now. Dreams I never thought I would have and I am so excited to see where those dreams bring me.

To all of you who have been my support, my listening ear during those tough times and to those of you who have faith in me....all I can say is thank you. You have helped me to change my life and helped me to live.

Congrats beth. You are an extraordinary woman and an amazing addition to the wls community. You bring us all such insight and your wisdom helps us all in one way or another.. if its not the recipes, its your medical knowledge that helps us all (and your ability to kill gallbladders, one by one lol.)

You are like a TT mom at times, there for me when I needed it most, and I thank you for that. You are one of the kindest people I have ever come across in life. Your daughters are very lucky girls, to have a mom like you.

I hope at my 3 yr surgiversary, that I am HALF the woman you are!

My dear Beth...no thank you for sharing your journey and wisdom. Since the first day I started here I felt a connection with you and have followed your story and your advice in everything I do. You should be so proud of yourself...I wish you nothing but the best in everything you do. Continued success and much love for you as you so deserve! Huggles!

Ladies, thank you so much for your words. All I can say is it is my pleasure to share with you what I have learned. Others have helped me to learn, so why wouldn't I pass it on?

Kelly? Little lady, you have been to hell and back again more than once this past year. Hey, you even dragged me along more than once!! I really think it was you who started with the gallbladder killing. Not me, you just sent it my way!!

Half the lady that I am at 3 years out??? Well, you better not be half the lady in regards to your weight.

Anyway, Kelly sometimes I think you open your mouth a little further than you should but I understand where it is coming from. Always happy to be known as your TT Mom.

And Andie? I am proud of myself....and you know what? I've felt that connection too.

Beth I'm so glad you posted that you hit your 3 year surgiversary. I rarely notice stuff like surgery dates, so thank you.

You are one of the best parts of TT. Your knowledge of, passion for and commitment to WLS and it's potential for long-term weight loss success is so valuable here.

I'm glad you had this surgery, and that you are here to pass along so much knowledge and support to the rest of us on TT.

((((((((((((Beth))))))))))))

Cheers to another 3 years!
