Default awsome Cake

I am a diabetic and over the holidays my daughter and I were baking she wanted to make a cake and I didn't want to because I would want to eat some. She said she had a great recipe she found on the internet and it's so easy, It doesn't sound to yummy but you can't even tell the difference....Buy your cake mix and instead of adding oil, eggs and water you add 1 can of diet coke....YUP!!!! That's it....It's incredibly moist and use what you want for frosting...We used believe it or not suger free fat free pudding...We used the instant after we made it we put it in the fridge to get cold and it was one of the best cakes I ever had and all of our guests had no idea ( including my husband ) what we had done till we told them. Of course we waited til everyone had eaten it. We also made a triffle dong the same thing we used sugar free fat free ingredients and made the cake with the diet coke...If anyone decide to try it let me know what you think. The only thing that I noticed was it cooked differently mabe a bit slower just watch it...

But the cake mix is the regular cake mix? Or sugar free cake mix?

you can use either...we used regular cake mix since that is what I had at home. I also had the pudding at home. Using the diet coke didn't add anything additional like eggs and oil would have she also said she made a white cake to make cupcakes for a birthday party and she used cherry diet coke and it gave it a different flavor. She has been making desserts like that for a while and no one ever knows the difference. I called her and she said she got the idea off of the food network..

with the diet coke??? I had no idea....I've done weight watchers and don't remember seeing this recipe. But I loved the cake it was moist and delicious...MY daughter loves junk food but always has to watch her weight so she looks for different recipes. This is her favorite...
