Thumbs up I'm excited and nervous

I got the news that the dictation was done and everything submitted to insurance on June 13. Sooo with the news comes excitment, my new life of taking care of me will begin soon and the nervousness of the unknown. I've scheduled a trip to see my son in the Air Force who I haven't seen for 9 months, he's only 18. I'm VERY excited about that and know when I come home I will be as mentally ready as possible.
A big thank you to everyone who posts on a regular basis. I've read and learned so much and you have made me feel even better about the decision to have the surgery.
I just need to get over the insurance hurdle. Keep your fingers crossed.

Good luck to you Sherri. The anticipation of the apporval was, or should I say has been the worst so far. I am still pre-op, but waiting for the surgery to come doesn't seem as intense as waiting for the approval. All my fingers and toes are crossed for you. Keep us posted.

I think half the battle is having a great attitude so I'm half way there.
Thanks for the encouragement. I'll call the insurance company on monday.
